Simple Transaction (Balance) is ideal for keeping a running total of your current balance. Balance is intended to provide a clear picture of your current bank balance without the confusing Available Balance vs Present Balance categories seen when viewing your account online.

With Balance you simply enter your current cash on hand and then enter any debits/deductions that occur. This will show the true picture of your current cash balance.
